Overview of Admission

MBA curriculums nationwide are making some changes, many say due to the recent ’08 economic crisis in an attempt to focus more on business ethics and areas that MBA programs have previously neglected. To get admission into M.A.M B-School TANCET Scores and Consortium Entrance score are essential as per Anna University norms and DOTE-(Directorate of Technical Education).

The programme follows a semester system. The first year consists of general management major and allied subjects with connection to industries of both internal and external environment. The second year consists of a few core papers such as Strategic Management, International Business Management and several elective areas such as Marketing, HR, Finance, HR, Marketing, Production and so on. The summer project is scheduled at the end of the first year. The programme offers major and minor specializations in the second year. The MBA degree is recognized by UGC and AICTE and affiliated by Anna University, Chennai.

A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50 % (45 % in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.

Admission Test

All candidates seeking admission to MAMBS are required to appear for the TANCET conducted by ANNA UNIVERSITY in March 2014 or Consortium of Self-financing Professional, Arts & Science Colleges in Tamilnadu Exam.

Rules and Regulations

  1. Student should be regular in attending their all classes, 80% attendance is mandatory in all subject failing with students maynot allowed to write University exam.
  2. Students have to be participating in all activities and events of the institute curriculum organized time to time.
  3. Habitual absence, late comer, and indecent behaviour in any manner in the institute lead to expulsion/ suspension. Student must maintain total decorum of the institute. In the running class mobile phones are totally banned
  4. Unnecessary roaming in the corridor disallowed. Violation of such things, acts and deeds adversely affected the student's career.
  5. Students will be sole responsible for their own precious belonging. However, institute's security will help.
  6. Smoking, drinking and objectionable eating items and ragging including unpleasant within the institute premises are strictly prohibited. If found to do so, institute has reserved right to cancel the admission and no refund fee etc.
  7. Subject wise assignments, presentation, projects shall be submitted in time without any excuses.
  8. Students are advised to inform the institute about changes in their Address/ Phone number of any details.
